“Hear me now brother. I was washed in the same blood as you.”

Chris Munn (Jamie Bell) is a restless teenager living in the woods of rural Georgia with his father John (Dermot Mulroney) and his younger brother Tim (Devon Alan). Their quiet life changes when Uncle Deel (Josh Lucas) turns up, and a family secret starts to surface. David Gordon Green, working from a story by Terrence Malick, films the Southern landscape slowly and lets the threat gather in the stillness.
