United 93

“September 11, 2001. Four planes were hijacked. Three of them reached their target. This is the story of the fourth.”

On the morning of September 11, 2001, Captain Jason Dahl (J.J. Johnson) and First Officer LeRoy Homer (Gary Commock) prepare United Flight 93 for an ordinary departure. Paul Greengrass tells it in real time, cutting between the cockpit, the cabin, and the air traffic controllers who watch the morning go wrong on their screens. CeeCee Lyles (Opal Alladin) works the aisle, passengers settle into their seats, and the plane climbs.
