United Red Army

Two of Japan's most radical student groups merge into the United Red Army and retreat into the mountains for a training camp. Kōji Wakamatsu follows the recruits as the leaders, Hiroko Nagata (Akie Namiki) and Tsuneo Mori (Go Jibiki), begin singling out their own followers for punishment. Mieko Toyama (Maki Sakai) arrives believing in the cause, and the camp starts demanding more of her than she has.
