“This film longs to hold you.”

Negin (Rojina Esmaeili) and her sister Nazgol (Saba Vahedyousefi) spot a bundle of money frozen deep in a Winnipeg sidewalk and set about getting it out. Elsewhere in the same winter, Massoud (Pirouz Nemati) leads a walking tour of historic sites, and Matthew (Matthew Rankin) quits his government job to visit his mother. Rankin's film suggests that strangers share a country mostly through the small, odd errands they run past each other.
