Unsubmissives

In the early 1990s, in a sunny small town in the south of France, Katy (Lyna Khoudri), Hélène (Izïa Higelin), Laurence and Carole have been best friends since childhood. Hélène is a single mother of three, and a notice arrives saying her welfare checks have been cut, which pushes the group toward robbing a bank. Mélissa Drigeard follows these women who are in their twenties, short on money, and still looking after each other.
