Untamable Angelique

Angélique de Peyrac (Michèle Mercier) refuses to believe her husband died at the stake, and she sets out to find Joffrey de Peyrac (Robert Hossein), the man now known as Le Rescator. Bernard Borderie sends her through the court of Louis XIV and across to the Mediterranean in ornate costume and constant motion. The Duke of Vivonne (Christian Rode) and Pierre-Marie D'Escrainville (Roger Pigaut) both stand between her and the answer she wants.
