“Change is in the air.”

An elderly widower named Carl Fredricksen (voice: Ed Asner) ties thousands of balloons to his house and lifts off toward South America with a stowaway boy named Russell (voice: Jordan Nagai). In the jungle, they meet a talking dog named Dug (voice: Bob Peterson) and a rare bird, crossing paths with Carl's childhood hero Charles Muntz (voice: Christopher Plummer). What matters most is not the place you reach, but who you bring along the way.
