Upper Egyptian in the American University

Khalaf El-Dahshori (Mohamed Henedi) steps off the train from the south with a scholarship to the American University in Cairo, where most of his classmates come from wealthy families and talk like Americans. Saeed Hamed puts him among students including Hussein (Tarek Lotfy), Ali (Ahmed Al Saqqa) and Seyada (Mona Zaki), none of whom know what to make of him. Khalaf arrives as a country boy, and he plans to stay one.
