Urban Legends: Bloody Mary

“Turn off the light and see what happens.”

Three high school friends stand in front of a mirror on prom night and chant an incantation on a dare. Samantha Owens (Kate Mara) is among them, and what they call up is the spirit of a dead girl from their own school, who starts coming after her old classmates. Mary Lambert, who directed the film, plays it as a late-night scare tightly wound around that dare and everyone who took part.
