“The Warriors who wanted to kill Vasco Da Gama”

Krishnadas (Prithviraj Sukumaran) is a young man who wants to know where he comes from, and what he finds is Chirakkal Kelu Nayanar, an ancestor from the 16th century who set out to avenge his people against Vasco da Gama. Santosh Sivan stages the rebellion alongside Prabhu Deva and Genelia D'Souza, with history and legend running together. The film treats colonial conquest as a fight over betrayal and courage, and who owes what to whom.
