V.I. Warshawski

“Killer eyes. Killer legs. Killer instincts.”

V.I. Warshawski (Kathleen Turner), a Chicago private detective, agrees to babysit the daughter of her new boyfriend, and by the end of the night he is dead. She takes the murder on as her own case, with Kat (Angela Goethals), the dead man's daughter, working it alongside her. Jeff Kanew sends them through a city of cops and reporters, among them Det. Lt. Bobby Mallory (Charles Durning), and the case keeps asking what a person owes the people she barely knows.
