“Christmas is a time for friends and family and unexpected visitors.”

Adi Verma (Shahid Kapoor) is a mechanic and the only one in his big household with a paying job, so he keeps his siblings, his grandmother and a pack of nieces and nephews fed. Then a car accident kills him, and Mahesh Manjrekar sends him straight to Yamraj (Sanjay Dutt), the god of death. Adi talks his way back as a ghost, because there is still work to finish at home, and he is not about to leave them to manage alone.
