“An Ambitious Journey of a Common Man”

Balamurugan (Dhanush), an assistant maths teacher in the 1990s, wants to get underprivileged students into a classroom where they can learn maths. Venky Atluri follows him as he takes on that slow, tedious work against the politics that surround education in those years. Samyuktha plays Meenakshi, and what he is up against is bigger than any one school, with the futures of those students resting on whether he can keep going.
