Thalathil Dineshan (Sreenivasan), a short man who has never quite believed in himself, marries Shobha (Parvathi), a beautiful young woman, and sets out to be the careful, devoted husband. His care soon turns to suspicion, and Sreenivasan, who also wrote the film, plays the early signs for laughs. The story is about jealousy that grows from a man's low opinion of himself, with no real cause anywhere in the marriage.
