Valdez Is Coming

“Honor is always worth fighting for”

In the dry Southwest of the 1970s Western, Bob Valdez (Burt Lancaster) is an aging Mexican-American lawman who has always kept the peace in a land of madmen. When the weapon smuggler Frank Tanner (Jon Cypher) provokes a shooting that kills an innocent man, Valdez asks him to pay the widow, and Tanner refuses and humiliates him. Edwin Sherin follows Valdez as he sets out to settle it, and what he owes the widow is the only thing he carries.
