Engineers from the Turkish Mining Exploration Institute find uranium deposits near Denizli, and soon afterward the people who know about them start dying under suspicious circumstances. Governor Faruk Yazıcı (Erdal Beşikçioğlu), an idealist and childhood friend of one of the engineers, begins asking who profits from the silence. Çağatay Tosun builds the film as a thriller around a real provincial seat of power.
