Valley of the Wolves: Iraq

“War Without Rules”

Polat Alemdar (Necati Şaşmaz), a Turkish intelligence agent, goes into Iraq with one aim: to find the American commander behind the Hood event, in which US troops detained Turkish soldiers in the north of the country. With him is Memati Baş (Gürkan Uygun), and the film folds in the occupation, the Abu Ghraib scandal and the Daniel Pearl execution. Serdar Akar stages it as a loud, bloody action picture.
