“When our darkest dreams become real ...reality becomes a nightmare!”

Doris Lang (Michie Tomizawa) has been bitten by a vampire, and she wants to kill him before the wound turns her into one. The hunter she hires, D (Kaneto Shiozawa), is a quiet stranger in a far-future world ruled by the supernatural, and his left hand talks. Toyoo Ashida draws the whole thing in the 1985 animation style, the night in deep blue, with Count Magnus Lee's castle waiting at the edge of it.
