“8 strangers. 8 points of view. 1 truth.”

Thomas Barnes (Dennis Quaid) is a Secret Service agent assigned to guard the President (William Hurt) at a counter-terrorism summit in Salamanca, Spain. When the President is struck by an assassin's bullet, Pete Travis replays the minutes before the shot through the eyes of eight strangers, among them Howard Lewis (Forest Whitaker) and Rex Brooks (Sigourney Weaver). Each rewind starts from the same moment, on a crowded square in Salamanca, and the shot lands again.
