Varavelpu

Murali (Mohanlal) comes back to his Kerala hometown after seven years of work in the Gulf, wanting only to settle down and make a living among the people he left behind. Sathyan Anthikad, working from a script by Sreenivasan, sets his homecoming against the trade union quarrels and petty politics that run the town. What Murali carries back from the Gulf matters less than the old friends and neighbors he has to stand beside, and the ones he has to stand against.
