Vasfiye Is Her Name

Vasfiye (Müjde Ar) is a provincial woman whose life has passed from one man to the next in the towns along the Aegean coast. Atıf Yılmaz hands her story to different narrators, among them Fuat (Yılmaz Zafer) and Emin (Aytaç Arman), and each telling comes out different from the last. A woman gets turned into whatever the men describing her need her to be, and her own account is the one no one tells.
