Veda - Atatürk

Two boys grow up together in Thessaloniki, and the friendship follows them into the army, where they serve side by side as comrades. Salih Bozok (Serhat Kılıç) later set down his memories of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and Zülfü Livaneli builds the film from that account, moving through the milestones of the commander's life. It is a story about a brotherhood that outlasts the years and a loyalty that holds until one of them is gone.
