Velaiyilla Pattathari

Raghuvaran (Dhanush) is a civil engineering graduate who has spent years at home, turned down for every job he applies for. His mother Bhuvana (Saranya Ponvannan) still believes in him, and his father Krishnamoorthy (Samuthirakani) has run out of patience. When the job he has always wanted finally arrives, a powerful rival sets out to knock him down. R. Velraj makes his directorial debut here, keeping the story close to a working family's kitchen and doorway.
