Velayudham

“The Ultimate Weapon”

Velayudham (Vijay) only wants to keep delivering milk, but a journalist, Bharathi (Genelia D'Souza), has traced a foiled terrorist attack back to him and wants him to become a symbol of hope. Mohan Raja builds the film around Vijay, with Santhanam as Speed, Hansika Motwani as Vaidehi and Saranya Mohan as Kaveri filling out the crowd around him. Through all of it Velayudham stays a milk vendor first, an ordinary man in a hero's costume he never asked for.
