“Beyond good and evil is Justice”

Detective John Dromoor (Nicolas Cage) wants nothing more than to keep his head down, until a woman he has only just befriended is brutally assaulted and the case lands on his desk by chance. Johnny Martin directs a story adapted from Joyce Carol Oates's novel, and the evidence looks overwhelming. Dromoor and Teena Maguire (Anna Hutchison), the victim, are drawn together by what happened, tied by it more than they would ever have chosen.
