Venom

“The world has enough superheroes.”

Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy), a San Francisco journalist trying to come back from a scandal, goes looking into Carlton Drake (Riz Ahmed) and a shadowy organization that has brought an alien symbiote to Earth. Contact leaves Eddie hosting Venom, a violent, super-strong presence with appetites of its own. Ruben Fleischer keeps it fast and loud, with Eddie's life and Anne Weying (Michelle Williams) on the line, and a whole species behind the symbiote.
