Why does a woman who sends other people's love lives into line keep ending up alone on a station platform? Angèle (Nathalie Baye) works at a Paris beauty parlor, still carrying an old romance, and her latest man leaves her at a train station. Tonie Marshall gives her an admirer in the sculptor Antoine (Samuel Le Bihan) and a young co-worker, Marie (Audrey Tautou), who is drawn to an older widowed client.
