Venus in Fur

A theater in Paris, after a long day of auditions, where the writer and director Thomas (Mathieu Amalric) is packing up. Vanda (Emmanuelle Seigner) bursts in late and soaked, nothing like the part she's here to read, and talks him into hearing her anyway. Polanski keeps the two of them alone on one stage, and as they run the play's lines, Thomas finds he can't tell where the script stops and she starts.
