Venus Wars

Hiro (Katsuhide Uekusa) wants nothing more than to win at the motorcycle version of Roller Derby that he and his teenage friends ride through the streets of Aphrodia, a city on a Venus gone sour with civil war. Susan Sommers (Eriko Hara), a bubbly reporter, arrives just before Ishtar captures the capital. Yoshikazu Yasuhiko lets the group drift from game to uprising, and a wary bond forms between Hiro and the stranger who keeps turning up at his side.
