Vermiglio

Cesare (Tommaso Ragno) runs a remote mountain village in northern Italy during the final weeks of World War II. When a wounded German deserter arrives, Cesare takes him in, and his daughter Lucia (Martina Scrinzi) begins to fall in love with the stranger. The bonds holding the family together strain against the pull of an affection that cannot survive the world closing in around them.
