Veronica Guerin

“Why would anyone want to kill Veronica Guerin?”

Veronica Guerin (Cate Blanchett), a reporter at an Irish newspaper, starts working her way up from the addicts to the people supplying them. Her trail runs through John Traynor (Ciarán Hinds), a paranoid informant, to John Gilligan (Gerard McSorley), the ruthless head of the operation. Schumacher keeps her at the center, where Blanchett's face tightens as the stories pile up and he doesn't take kindly to her nosing.
