“She thought she was out.”

Veronica Mars (Kristen Bell) left her teenage detective days behind and is up for a job at a New York law firm. Then her ex Logan Echolls (Jason Dohring) is accused of murdering a former classmate, and she drives back to Neptune as the reunion approaches. Rob Thomas, who made the TV series, sends her through her old town and her father Keith's (Enrico Colantoni) office, where the people she once got away from turn out to be the ones she can't stop coming back to.
