Veronika Decides to Die

Veronika (Sarah Michelle Gellar) wakes in a mental asylum after a frantic attempt to end her life, and the doctor in charge, Dr. Blake (David Thewlis), tells her she has only weeks left. Emily Young sets the story in New York City and has Veronika share the ward with patients like Edward (Jonathan Tucker) and Mari (Melissa Leo). Veronika sits among them in a hospital gown, a woman who came here to die and now has a deadline.
