Vettai

Guru Murthy (Arya) wants his older brother Thiru (R. Madhavan), a timid police constable, to rise in the force, so he quietly does the hard work and lets Thiru take the credit. N. Linguswamy builds the brothers' routine around that arrangement, with Vasanthi (Sameera Reddy) and Jayanthi (Amala Paul) pulling both men into ordinary family life. Then a brutal incident puts Annachi (Ashutosh Rana) in their path, and the arrangement can no longer protect Thiru.
