Vettaiyan

“The Hunter”

In Tamil Nadu, SP V. Athiyan (Rajinikanth) has a name as a supercop, the kind of officer the department calls when a case needs a fast result. T. J. Gnanavel sends him after a suspect in the murder of a teacher, where the investigation pulls him alongside Justice Dr. Sathyadev Bramhadutt Pandey (Amitabh Bachchan). Athiyan keeps his reputation by never slowing down, and an encounter killing he can't take back is where that habit starts to cost him.
