Victor/Victoria

Victoria Grant (Julie Andrews), a soprano who cannot get hired, takes the one job on offer: playing Count Victor Grazinsky, a man who performs as a woman on stage. Her friend Carroll "Toddy" Todd (Tony Roberts) coaches her through the act, and the arrangement tangles up her life with King Marchand (Michael Nouri). Blake Edwards staged this Broadway musical, and it was filmed live at the Marquis Theatre on opening night.
