Vinci

“Crime... is a work of art.”

Robert "Cuma" Cumiński (Robert Więckiewicz), a gifted art thief, is let out of prison on probation by a corrupt doctor who wants one more job from him. The job is to steal Leonardo da Vinci's "Lady with Ermine" for a dealer called Gruby. Juliusz Machulski keeps the heist to practical steps and a crew that is partly loyal, partly not, and the film makes plain that no one in it is stealing a painting for the beauty.
