“Will you cross the skies for me?”

Karthik Sivakumar (Silambarasan) is a young man who wants to make films, and he has never had much else on his mind. Then Jessie (Trisha Krishnan) moves into the house above his, a polished, self-possessed girl whose world sits well outside his own. Gautham Vasudev Menon follows Karthik as he falls for her anyway, and the hurt he is walking into is plain from the start.
