Violence in a Women's Prison

“The strong ones take, the weak ones give.”

Nobody at the Santa Catarina Women's Penitentiary knows why Laura Kendall (Laura Gemser) has arrived with such a long record of drugs and prostitution, because the record is invented. She is Emanuelle, a reporter working undercover for Amnesty International. Bruno Mattei keeps her among the inmates and under the eye of Doctor Moran (Gabriele Tinti), all of it shot in the grainy, cramped look of a 1970s exploitation picture.
