Violent City

“In a city set to explode, one man has just lit the fuse”

Jeff Heston (Charles Bronson) is a hitman who wants out of the work and back to the woman he loves, Vanessa (Jill Ireland). She sets him up instead, and he barely walks away from the attempt on his life. Now he wants her, and the gang boss Al Weber (Telly Savalas) who leaned on her. Sergio Sollima films the nightclubs and back streets in rough, grainy colour, cutting fast and never letting the pace drop.
