Viva l'Italia
The ability to lie has vanished from the head of Michele Spagnolo (Michele Placido), a leading politician: after a stroke, he can only tell the truth. Massimiliano Bruno shot the film in and around Rome, and the truth comes out at the family table, where his sons Riccardo (Raoul Bova) and Valerio (Alessandro Gassmann) and his daughter Susanna (Ambra Angiolini) have their own secrets. Each of them has to decide how much of the old man's honesty they can live beside.
