Viva Villa!

After killing an overseer to avenge his father's death, the young Pancho Villa (Wallace Beery) runs for the hills and starts gathering men around him. Jack Conway, working from a Ben Hecht screenplay, follows Villa and his loyal lieutenant Sierra (Leo Carrillo) as a ragged band grows into an army. Beside them rides Jonny Sykes (Stuart Erwin), and between Villa and Sierra sits a friendship that gets tested.
