In a Havana plaza, Vivo (Lin-Manuel Miranda), a kinkajou, plays music for tourists alongside his old companion Andrés (Juan de Marcos González). When a letter arrives from Marta Sandoval, a retiring singer, Vivo takes on the job of carrying Andrés's love song to her. Kirk DeMicco sends him on the road with Gabi (Ynairaly Simo), a bold young girl, and the song has to reach Marta in time.
