Voyage of the Rock Aliens

“Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's a Rock Alien!”

Dee Dee (Pia Zadora) and her boyfriend Frankie (Craig Sheffer) run with a gang of teenagers in the small town of Speelburgh, U.S.A., and they would like their band, the Pack, to get somewhere. Then a crew of aliens touches down, having crossed space to find where rock and roll comes from, and their leader takes a shine to Dee Dee. James Fargo stages it all as a musical, with Ruth Gordon as the town sheriff and Michael Berryman as a character named Chainsaw.
