“Would you kill the one you love to save yourself from death?”

Bodies keep turning up in the city's dark streets, some mutilated, others with the Price equation (wΔz = Cov (w,z) = βwzVz) carved into the skin. Detective Eddie Argo (Stellan Skarsgård) and his new partner Helen Westcott (Melissa George) work out that each victim was handed a choice: kill the people you love, or die. Tom Shankland puts the two detectives side by side through every grim scene, strangers who have to trust each other fast.
