Waffle Street

A hedge fund vice president managing money for a $30 billion firm loses his job and ends up waiting tables at a 24-hour waffle shop. Jimmy Adams (James Lafferty) learns the grill, the grease, and the regulars from Edward Collins (Danny Glover), an ex-con who runs it and has views on grits and money. The Nelms brothers adapt Adams's memoir, and Jimmy keeps showing up to the shifts, unsure what he has left to prove.
