“If only life were as easy as pie.”

Jenna Hunterson (Keri Russell) bakes pies at a small-town diner, naming each one for whatever is going wrong in her life, and she has just found out she's pregnant. Adrienne Shelly puts her opposite Dr. Jim Pomatter (Nathan Fillion), the new doctor in town, while her husband waits at home. Every day Jenna stays is another day closer to a baby she doesn't want in a marriage she can't leave.
