Waking the Dead

“Sometimes love has a life of it's own.”

Fielding Pierce (Billy Crudup) is running for Congress when he catches a glimpse of the woman he loved, Sarah Williams (Jennifer Connelly), who is supposed to be dead. He starts seeing her again, in rooms and on streets where she cannot be, and he stops trusting what his own eyes tell him. Keith Gordon follows a man who cannot let go of a love or of the grief it left, and who holds onto both.
