“One man will stand up for what's right.”

Chris Vaughn (Dwayne Johnson) comes home after years in the U.S. Army, a big, quiet man looking for an ordinary life in the town he grew up in. Kevin Bray shows him what is left of it: the mill shut down, the old friends worn thin, and a casino run by Jay Hamilton (Neal McDonough) that has taken over the place. Chris ends up as sheriff, with Ray Templeton (Johnny Knoxville) at his side, and his family and everyone he grew up with now live inside the fight.
