Walking the Streets of Moscow

Volodya Yermakov (Aleksei Loktev) is a young writer passing through Moscow on a stopover, with hours to fill and nobody waiting for him. He falls in with Kolka (Nikita Mikhalkov), who is walking home from a hard night shift, and then with Sasha (Evgeniy Steblov), who needs a deferral from military service so he can marry. Georgiy Daneliya follows the three through the city, and Sasha's wedding is what pulls the other two along beside him.
